Please note that all UBCcard’s have an expiry date. Just like with passports and drivers licenses, we like to issue new cards so the card owner’s image is up-to-date. Your card will expire five years after it’s been issued. To be issued a new card, simply go through the online process. For students, as the UBCcard is connected to their Compass Card, having an expired UBCcard will affect their ability to use their Compass Card.
